T-Mobile Announces the BlackBerry Bold 9700 with 3G

Today T-Mobile announced it's first 3G BlackBerry, the Bold 9700. The 9700 will support voice calls over both cellular and Wi-Fi networks. It also brings the optical trackpad first seen on the 8520 to a higher-end device. It also has a new 624MHz processor, built in GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and support for microSD cards up to 32GB. The T-Mobile version will have quad-band GSM/EDGE radios and 900/1700/2100MHz HSDPA. It will be available before the shopping season for $200 with new contract.

Today T-Mobile will release the Motorola Cliq for current customers. The price will be $199 on a 2 year contract for existing customers. The rest of the world will have to wait until November 11 for their chance at the smartphone with social skills.

Apple had their usual fall keynote address this morning. Steve Jobs was back at the helm and looked as healthy as he always has. The iPod Classic and Touch received spec improvements along with price drops.
The big news was the iPod Nano. It is still packaged in the same slim design but now includes a video recorder. Yes, with a built in mic and speakers. Another first-FM RADIO. I never thought I'd see the day Aplpe would bend over and take it. Yes, folks, consumer demand rules!!!
Oh, and iPhone 3.1 and iTunes 9.

I ran across this site doing my research for another project. This shit is unbelievable. The site is nothing more than a "let's make fun of Walmart shoppers" site. The site allows people to send in photos from shopping trips at their local Walmart store. The site is jacked. There is absolutely no reason for this type of garbage to exist. Farewell Michael!!!

Finally, after what seems like an eternity, the King of Pop has been laid to rest. After arriving over an hour late, the Jackson family laid Michael to rest. There were plenty of celebrity in attendance such as Barry Bonds, Corey Feldman, Quincy Jones, Miko Brando and Lisa Marie Presley. The affair ended with Michael being placed in an undisclosed location in the Mausoleum.
The after party lasted till after midnight in Pasadena. Corey Feldman did his best MJ imitation after the party. The family had more than 200 guests.

Apparently last night Justin Timberlake was in a good mood. The R&B superstar bought the entire club (Lavo at the Palazzo in Las Vegas) a shot of 901 tequila; a tequila he created and named after his hometown area code of Memphis, Tn.
JT was in good company Tuesday night as his steady Jessica Beil was also in attendance. The DJ for night: Samantha Ronson. Yes, Lindsey Lohan's Ex.

Funeral for DJ AM set for Wednesday

     Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) will be buried on Wednesday at Hillside Memorial Park and  Mortuary in Los Angeles Wednesday Afternoon. (according to E! online reports).

DJ AM died on August 28th of a drug overdose ending a 10 year battle with addiction. DJ AM was a celebrity DJ to the rich and famous. He dated celebrities such as Nicole Ritchie, Mandy Moore and his last model girlfriend. He played weekends at RAIN nightclub in Las Vegas and played various clubs and parties in LA.

Last September DJ AM was in a fatal plane crash along with his buddy Travis Barker; member of the alternative group Blink 182. AM and Barker were the only survivors of that fiery crash.

The funeral will be conducted as a 12-step style meeting.

Some of you may remember that Michael Jackson and all 3 of his children lived there briefly in 2007. All of Paris' hair was bagged up, sealed and sent off with one of the worlds richest children.

Apparently, Microsoft has been smoking some of that funny stuff! Recently they held a contest for mobile programmers to hammer out apps for all the existing platforms. Keep in mind this was held on the Redmond, Washington campus HQ. Guess which application got top honors. It was an app for the Apple iPhone. Sorry windows mobile....maybe next year.

Rumors are flying around that DJ AM committed suicide, or over dosed because of depression. So the title question asks......Leave your opinion on the death of DJ AM.

UPDATE: Yesterday it was discovered that DJ AM had 8 Oxycontin in his stomach (undigested) and 1 in his mouth. Hmmmm? Suicide? Let me know your thoughts.
